Van Camp & Van O'Linda, PLLC is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team in Pinehurst, NC.
This position will be responsible for providing support to the attorney and other staff members with a focus on Civil Litigation and Real Estate duties, including filing, scanning, and managing legal documents.
This position will also assist with other duties as assigned.
Duties:
Managing and maintaining client files and documents Scanning and filing documents Maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings Preparing and/or proofing legal documents with attorney supervision Providing general administrative support to attorneys and staff Maintaining a positive work environment by maintaining a professional appearance and attitude Providing general administrative support to the legal department as assigned Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills required for this role.
Strong organizational skills required for this role.
Strong computer skills required for this role.
Must be proficient in Google Suite, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, SoftPro and other related software.
Must be comfortable learning new software platforms.
Ability to multitask effectively while still being able to accurately document tasks.
Must be able to document tasks accurately.
