8K - $39K a year Security Officer/Information Desk is responsible for safety and security of patients, visitors and employees.
Provide appropriate information and assistance; announces visitors and/or directs them to their destination.
Receives incoming calls, answers routine questions or redirects calls to appropriate department or floor.
Monitors/Supports discharge services.
Greets visitors, staff, patients, and patients' families.
Perform clerical duties such as operating computer, answering telephone and documenting important information.
Coordinates obtaining assistance for handicapped visitors.
Inform patients, visitors and staff of any directional changes that occur within the hospital.
Inform patients, visitors, and staff of changes in visitation guidelines as is appropriate.
Respond to codes and emergencies as required.
Requirements:
High School graduate or GED.
Valid NC drivers license with a good driving record.
Minimum of six months previous job experience in security or law enforcement preferred.

FirstHealth of the Carolinas Security - MRH Schedule:
Casual Part Time:
under 20 hrs/wk, Day Shift, 7p -7a and 7a-7p with rotating weekends.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
